See the combined tripAfter base camp, climb a 6,189 m peak. With the Island Peak option you stay with the group up to Everest Base Camp, then have three extra days on the mountain: the camp below Island Peak, a climbing lesson and the climb to the summit, on fixed ropes and with one Sherpa for every two participants.

Tours built the way you would want to find them
A close-knit group
Between 6 and 14 people, with the group leader, local guides and porters along the whole route. The pace follows the group, not the other way round.
A realistic pace
Acclimatisation days are part of the plan: at Namche and Machhermo in the Himalayas, at Horombo on Kilimanjaro. Climb high by day, sleep lower at night.
Preparation and safety
Planning and guidance before you leave, certified guides, a first-aid kit and, on Kilimanjaro, daily pulse oximeter checks and oxygen bottles.
Full transparency
From the start you know how hard the route is, where you sleep, what the price includes and what it does not. No inflated promises.
It all started on the trail to Everest Base Camp, in 2024.
I went to Nepal as an ordinary participant and came back with a clear decision: to offer the tours I would have wanted to find, and to lead the groups on the trail myself. That is how Nomad Exped began.
