Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is NOMAD EXPED S.R.L., tax identification number (CUI) 52437165, registered office at Str. Gavril Drugănescu nr. 10, sat Stoenești, com. Florești-Stoenești, jud. Giurgiu (“Nomad Exped”). For any question about your data, write to us at sorin@nomad-exped.ro.
What data we collect
- Through the contact form: your name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), the tour you are interested in, the number of people and your message.
- By e-mail or Instagram: the data you choose to send us.
- At booking: the data needed for the contract and for booking the tour services (for example, passport details for permits and accommodation), which we ask you for separately.
Why we use it
- to reply to you and send you the offer you asked for (steps taken before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- to book the services of the tour you signed up for and to accompany you during it (performance of the contract);
- to comply with legal obligations, for example accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising without your separate consent, and we do not sell it to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep messages sent through the form for at most 2 years from the last contact, unless you become a participant. We keep the data in travel contracts for as long as the law requires for accounting documents.
Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need in order to reply to you and to book the tour services:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and forwards the messages from the form by e-mail;
- the local partner agency that provides the tour and its suppliers (guides, accommodation, transport), only with the data needed for the services booked, including in countries outside the EU such as Nepal or Tanzania, where the transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing. For any of them, write to us at sorin@nomad-exped.ro. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
