Our story

Nomad Exped grew out of an experience lived for real.

Everest Base Camp Trek 2024.

  1. 2024

Everest Base Camp, as a participant

The Khumbu Icefall and the tents of Everest Base Camp

I went to Nepal as an ordinary participant. No big plans. No intention of building anything. Just the wish to walk a trail that had been on my list for a long time.

Along the way, things changed. I saw what a well-planned tour means and how much the details matter: the pace, adapting to altitude, safety, communication, the group and the decisions taken at the right moment.

Everest Base Camp is not an extreme trail, but it tests you constantly. Physically and mentally. That is where I understood that the difference between a good experience and one that stays with you for years lies in how it is built.

  2. April 2026

The first Nomad Exped tour, to Everest Base Camp

A suspension bridge with prayer flags, through the forest on the trail

I went back to Nepal, this time with the first Nomad Exped group, on the trail to Everest Base Camp where it all began.

  3. September 2026

Kilimanjaro on the Marangu route, then a safari

The signs on Uhuru Peak, 5,895 m, the highest point in Africa

I climbed Kilimanjaro on the Marangu route, up to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 m, and carried on with a safari in Tanzania.

  4. 2027

    The 2027 departures

The next departures: Everest Base Camp in April, Kilimanjaro and safari in Tanzania in September.

When I came back, the decision was clear.

I want to create the tours I would have wanted to find as a participant.

That is how Nomad Exped began.

01 · What it means

Nomad Exped means adventure tours planned with care.

  1. Groups of 6-14 people.
  2. A realistic pace.
  3. A focus on preparation, safety and acclimatisation.
  4. Full transparency about difficulty, conditions and effort.

No inflated promises. No pressure to prove anything.

02 · What I believe in

I believe in experiences that help you grow, not ones that push you too hard. In trails walked mindfully. In people who come for the journey, not just for the final photo.

Everest Base Camp was the beginning. A place that showed me the real impact of an adventure done right. From there, the project grew naturally towards other destinations, keeping the same principle.

03 · Who I am

If you want more than a holiday. If you want an adventure planned end to end. If you want to go at a pace that lets you live the experience, not just tick it off, then we are probably on the same path.

It all started on the trail to Everest Base Camp. We take the next steps together.
